Tagged: Concurrent outputs MUX Shield II
Hello,
I posted this on the Arduino forum as well (Arduino Forum), but I’m having a hard time to figure out why I can’t seem to be able to turn more than 1 I/O pins to LOW.
Here’s a video that explains the problem. The MUX is fine addressing individual pins but I’m getting weird results when multiple simultaneous pins are ON.
I think the MUX might be defective. Here’s a picture.
Problem solved!! Thanks a lot Mark for shipping the other MUX to me and… figuring out the issue with the MUXShield.cpp file!
If anyone is having a similar issue, please make sure you use the updated version with the following header:
Updated by Mark Mayhew, May 22, 2016: Fixed digital output issue where erroneous data was being clocked into shift registers
Could you provide a download link for the newer muxshield.cpp file?
Thanks
